Press releases COVID-19
Covid-19 has marked and continues to mark the life of the entire planet, but throughout the great and tragic Italian emergency, which has hit particularly strongly the Lombardy region, the Paratico brothers, who have always been shy and not very fond of fame, did not hesitate for a moment to make their skills and their company available to exponentially increase the production of flowmeters for CPAP by supporting the expansion of intensive care units and equipment in hospitals in the field. Indeed, flow-meter™ has been a constant and essential presence throughout the most crucial months.
“In those times, everyone's goal was to save lives - says Paratico - not business. That is about ideas, not people's lives.
Our company contributed as much as it could: over the past years, we produced about 300 CPAP devices per year, while in the past months we have produced about 2,000 units in a very short time (8 times the normal annual volume of this type of device).
As well as the production of flowmeters for oxygen therapy or non-invasive ventilation (NIV), which increased from the usual 1,500 units per week to 4,500 units per week for the entire period of the Covid emergency”.
