Cal Crutchlow suffers disappointment in Sepang, finishing 15th

It was a bitter birthday for Cal Crutchlow. The Team LCR Honda rider got no further than 15th place at the Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang.
Earning just one point in a frustrating race, Crutchlow suffered problems with his back tyre in the wet conditions. His words at the end of the race said it all. “Absolutely one of the worst races in my MotoGP career. I’m sorry for myself and for my team”.

The Sepang race was won by Dovizioso, ahead of his team-mate Lorenzo and the Frenchman Zarco. Rossi came in seventh. Marquez, in fourth, retained his 21-point lead with one race to go to the end of the championships. The last Grand Prix of the season takes place on 12 November in Valencia.
