CRUTCHLOW ON THE SAN MARINO WINNERS PODIUM

A fabulous third place for Cal Crutchlow in the San Marino Gran Prix! The British pilot of LCR Honda ranked just behind Andrea Dovizioso and Marc Marquez at Misano, conquering a difficult podium in a home race. Currently, Crutchlow is sixth in the world ranking at five points from Viñales and eleven behind Lorenzo. Marquez is currently in the lead, followed by the Italian pair of Dovizioso and Rossi. At the end of the race, Crutchlow was quite satisfied: “It was a fun race, I tried to start well, I didn’t want to push from the beginning with the hard rear [tyre], I tried to push it at the half of the race, but I was too far behind Jorge and Marc: the team did a great job, I’m happy”. Some think that this is Crutchlow’s best season: “I don’t know, I think I have been driving well here for some time, I managed the tyre better this year. We have a good bike and a good team: I hope to keep pushing forward this year and next year”.
