The digital vacuum regulator presented at Medica last year is continuing its path leading to innovation. The monochromatic LCD display indicating the set depression value has now been equipped with backlighting that can be switched on by the user. This additional evolutionary step offers simplified reading and improved ease of use by the health operator.
In addition to all the device setting possibilities already found in the previous EasyVAC® PLUS DGT version - from the possibility to configure the unit of measure of the scale and programming the automatic shutdown time when not being operated to setting a warning depression value when manually reset to compensate the changes in the ambient conditions - the user can now also manually set the backlighting ON period of time.
Something absolutely new compared to the previous version is the power supply mode. The two alkaline batteries present in the first generation have been replaced by a lithium-ion battery that can be recharged using a USB type C connector. The charging port (which can also be used for power supply) is easy to reach through an opening found in the silicone protective casing of the vacuum gauge, so at the same time it offers effective protection even in the most burdensome conditions.
